Prescott School District was represented by a good selection of students on the OBU Talent Search field trip. In fact, several of our students were singled out for acts of politeness and for assisting in clearing trash from the tables in the cafeteria of students from other schools. The students do not know it but OBU is bringing them some goodies for their acts of service.

Heather Tuttle with the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Southwest Dental Outreach Program visited classrooms at PES to speak to students about the importance of dental hygiene.
ACH Dental Outreach focuses on prevention and education through the Dental Sealant Program, providing dental screenings, fluoride applications, dental sealants, and oral health supplies. ACH Dental Services will provide all the necessary supplies, equipment, and personnel to screen and seal as many possible teeth for elementary students.
Your PES student should be coming home with a permission slip to participate in the dental screening. Parents, please check yes or no on this slip, sign it and send it back to school. Classrooms with all slips returned to school by January 29 will receive a dental goodie bag. They will return on February 21 to do exams on the students participating.

Dalton Stockton placed 2nd in nonfiction technology for the 6th grade at the SWAEC Reading Fair while Cohen Ratcliff was selected the 6th grade Kid's Choice winner!

The Arkansas Democrat Gazette released the Sophomore All-Arkansas team. Curley Wolves Jason Patrick Jr. for defense and Jacaylon Zachery for offense made the list! Only 11 from offense and 11 from defense made it out of the whole state. Way to go guys! What an honor! 🐺🏈
