Track and Field, like all sports, is a team sport but there are individual accomplishments that occur as well. Last night at the Prescott Cub Relays, Sophia Cornelius set a new JR High school record in the 800 meter run with a 2:31.47 that was set by J. Harvey in 1977 with a 2:38.60. She broke the Prescott Cub Relays record as well which was set by Long from Stamps in 1977 with a 2:33.90.

Prescott agri students attended the Southern District CDE competitions today. Two of our groups are headed to State in Fayetteville after placing 6th in the Land competition and 8th in Livestock. Congratulations to these young men and women!

More than 85,000 students from 414 schools in 55 counties across Arkansas participated in local and county contests that led up to the State Spelling Bee. Prescott eighth grader, Grayson Conrad, competed in the 2025 Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas State Spelling Bee in Little Rock this past weekend placing 12th.
